One of our volunteers, David, is learning to fly and had a training flight to Wellesbourne today, so he took the opportunity (with instructor on board to take charge) to take some aerial photographs of the site. He only had his mobile phone, but they still look pretty good. They were very restricted in how low they could fly – so these are taken from 1000ft measured from the top of the church tower. You can see the whole layout of the house and gardens here, including the water features – the canal and water parterre, the terracing and the ridge and furrow in The Coneygree.
